One of the biggest concerns and issues people have with submitting articles EzineArticles.com is getting them approved without any glitches. There are a few traps that I’ve found that will almost guarantee your articles will be accepted by this massively important article directory.
1. Don’t go keyword crazy. They have a 2% keyword density rule and that includes the keywords that you include in your resource box. In addition, if your article is about “skin care” for instance, don’t go crazy using the word “skin.” Even though the article is about skin and skin care, the directory will pick up those individual words as keywords.
2. Don’t include locations in your titles. The directory will automatically decline articles with locations in the title. Use your geo-targeted keywords in the article body and resource box only.
3. Don’t use your company name in the article and don’t be too promotional. These get declined for, well, being overly promotional. Your place to advertise is in the resource box.
